Fleet Designation Program

RC Laser Fleets are the rallying point for RC Laser owners. Fleets provide education, camaraderie, racing, and organization.

How to Register a Fleet - There is an application that you can submit right on line. Click here.

Qualifications
  • A fleet must have 4or more RC Lasers to register. On the application, list the four founding owner's names and sail numbers (if applicable)

  • Each Fleet shall designate a Fleet Captain (or contact person), and provide their phone and email contact information.

  • Each Fleet provides information on their sailing venue locations, and local events.
Benefits of the Fleet Program
  • Internet - Each designated fleet will be listed on, and promoted by, the RC Laser national website at SailRCLaser.com. This will develop even wider local recognition of your fleet and allow travelers to make contact when in your area.

  • New Members - Listings of Fleet locations and contact information is a draw for RC Laser owners in your area.

  • Identity - Your local RC Laser sailing fleet will automatically have an identity. If you are already part of a larger organization, like a yacht club, your club might be called ~

    Mobile Bay Sailing Club
    RC Laser Fleet #26

If your fleet is established without a club affiliation, the title can be used with the fleet location, for instance:

    RC Laser Fleet #42
    Boulder, Colorado

Fees - There is no fee to apply or be recognized as an RC Laser Fleet. However, each fleet is encouraged to have its members join RCLCA.
