RC Laser Class Association

Welcome to the section of our site that is dedicated to our owners and members of the RC Laser Class Association - North America. We welcome you to participate in your class. By doing so you provide the collective knowledge and strength an organization needs to make a positive difference in the lives of all RC Laser sailors. Below are outlines of the pages in this section. All members are asked to participate in developing our fleets, and having fun as a result.

RCLCA-NA - Wow, that is a mouthful. It stands for Radio Controlled Laser Class Association - North America. We have chosen this format of name to align ourselves with the Laser Class Association, our big sister. In the next couple of years, we hope to join other regional organizations around the world to form the International RCLCA - but first things first.

Our organization is a membership organization, open to all those that have an interest in the RC Laser. Model Sailing Center, in conjunction with the RC Laser Manufacturer, are the founders of this association, and manage its operation.

In the pages that follow, you will learn a great deal about how the Association is formed and how you can participate. We present all the information on the structure of the Association (Constitution), our very strict One-Design Racing Rule (One-Design Rule). We maintain a listing of events that you may like to attend (Events). Also find information on the benefits of membership and how to join (Membership), and how to form and become recognized as a fleet (Fleet Formation). And finally, we maintain a listing of all the our sanctioned fleets (Fleet Listing) so you can get together with fellow RC Laser sailors.
